General Twisting of Algebras
We introduce the concept of pseudotwistor (with particular cases called twistor and braided twistor) for an algebra (A,μ, u) in a monoidal category, as a morphism T : A⊗ A → A ⊗ A satisfying a list of axioms ensuring that (A,μ ◦ T, u) is also an algebra in the category. This concept provides a unifying framework for various deformed (or twisted) algebras from the literature, such as twisted ten...
متن کاملVector Field Twisting of Lie-Algebras
In quantum groups coproducts of Lie-algebras are twisted in terms of generators of the corresponding universal enveloping algebra. If representations are considered, twists also serve as starproducts that accordingly quantize representation spaces. In physics, requirements turn out to be the other way around. Physics comes up with noncommutative spaces in terms of starproducts that miss a suiti...
متن کاملCombinatorial Deformations of Algebras: Twisting and Perturbations
The framework used to prove the multiplicative law deformation of the algebra of Feynman-Bender diagrams is a twisted shifted dual law (in fact, twice). We give here a clear interpretation of its two parameters. The crossing parameter is a deformation of the tensor structure whereas the superposition parameters is a perturbation of the shuffle coproduct of Hoffman type which, in turn, can be in...
متن کاملamenability of banach algebras
chapters 1 and 2 establish the basic theory of amenability of topological groups and amenability of banach algebras. also we prove that. if g is a topological group, then r (wluc (g)) (resp. r (luc (g))) if and only if there exists a mean m on wluc (g) (resp. luc (g)) such that for every wluc (g) (resp. every luc (g)) and every element d of a dense subset d od g, m (r)m (f) holds. chapter 3 inv...

We construct twisting elements for module algebras of restricted two-parameter quantum groups from factors of their R-matrices. We generalize the theory of Giaquinto and Zhang to universal deformation formulas for categories of module algebras and give examples arising from R-matrices of two-parameter quantum groups.
